The Wasteland Witches is a no budget, independent film, aiming to showcase the young talent in the area. It takes inspiration from 'The Snow Queen' and 'The Wizard of Oz', and is set in a fantasy world, the Wastelands, where witches rule and wild creatures roam.

When Sam Watson's father is declared MIA, his family all lose hope, but Sam can't give up. He refuses. As he struggles to deal with the absence of his father and alienation from his family, he is tormented by dreams of a strange land which is somehow familiar.

In the midst of his troubles and anguish, Sam is kidnapped and transported to the Wastelands, a wild and dangerous place ruled by witches, and he can only leave once he has completed the quest to rescue the Autumn King. But if he does, he will also be granted one wish, and his wish is to be reunited with his father.

Will Sam manage to find the King?
Will he see his father again?
Or will be be trapped in this strange place forever?
